The Political Science Department of M.V. College, Buxar was established in 1958. It is a vibrant and academically progressive department dedicated to developing a deep understanding of political systems, theories, governance, and contemporary socio-political issues. Since its establishment, the department has aimed to equip students with knowledge, analytical ability, and civic awareness essential for understanding the complexities of national and global politics.
The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects including Political Theory, Indian Government and Politics, Comparative Politics, Public Administration, International Relations, Political Sociology, and Human Rights.
