The Botany Department of M.V. College, Buxar was established in 1970 with the aim of providing students with a comprehensive understanding of plant biology, ecology, and the importance of flora in sustaining life. Since its inception, the department has been dedicated to fostering scientific knowledge, research aptitude, and environmental awareness among students.
The curriculum covers diverse areas of botany, including Plant Physiology, Plant Taxonomy, Genetics, Ecology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Environmental Botany.
